The Sternum- Sacrum connection

I came across this beautiful explanation from a Reflexology teaching organisation in Denmark about the connection between the sternum and sacrum, and it really resonated with me.

In Mizan Therapy, we always work on the sternum, an area that holds present-day emotions and experiences, as it can reflect deeper past or even ancestral patterns. This approach supports the body in releasing and letting go of what no longer serves.

Seeing this understanding reflected in another discipline felt like such a powerful reminder of the depth and validity of the work we do as Mizan Therapists 🤍

Why combining sternum + sacrum is explosive-

When you work the sternum alone:

You open identity - but if the sacrum is frozen, the system cannot embody it.

When you work the sacrum alone:

You release life force - but without the sternum, it has no direction. (Touchpoint, Denmark).
