Sometimes, what we are looking for is already growing quietly right in front of us. We just haven’t recognised it yet. If I hadn’t been told about quince, I honestly think I would have disposed of the fruit growing in my garden without a second thought; especially because Japanese quince isn’t something you simply pick and eat like an apple.
